  Why would a supremely powerful and wise being regard faith as a virtue?

  if i were the all-powerful creator of all the universe it would be a very easy thing to prove my existence, requirements and will in an indisputable and unambiguous way.

  everyone would know of my existence and requirements without them having to put forth effort to believe based on limited, ambiguous evidence that is highly subject to interpretation.

  i would regard faith as a harmful trait that makes one vulnerable to being deceived.

  So, today I ran into one of my accusers that were on my jc

  and she tried to act as if she were by best friend, hugs and all.

  i told her the elders were dirty getting her and her family to come in at the last minute and be my accusers yet none of them could remember anything from six years ago.

  i told her this was all on account of her brother.

  They made me throw away a windchime!!!

  i had a lovely mirrored windchime in my house.

  my study conductor told me it attracted deemunz and i threw it in the trash.

  i've since bought another.. what's the reasoning behind that idiocy??

  so i grew up in new jersey in a very urban part of the state.

  i literally only saw white folks if they were in a police car or if i went to the assembly.

  the funny thing is at the assembly there was still a level of segregation as well although it was self-imposed.

  A I few years ago my elderly motherbchecked out her neighborhood territory....and kept it. Once in a blue moon she would try to work it....by herself. The reason I know this is because one day as usual I went over to h house and there was a black couple letting h out of their van. They were pioneering and saw her trying to make her Way down the street so they picked her up. W all went inside and had coffee. I called them at home to thank them again for helping my mom. They wanted to come over so I let them and I had champagne and treats. After the second glass of wine they opened up about the racism in e cong....the remarks people said...like one elder in particular. Someone else's kid was sitting with this black family and the kid acted up...they gave him back to the mom and after the meeting the elder said, "that's what you get when you don't sit with your own kind". They ultimately moved away.

  10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.

  walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .

  some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

  beng raised n da troof i thought there was one archangel, michael ( aka jesus ).

  so i am talking to a woman who mentions that she named her cats after the archangels (plural).

  how could i have missed that little gem?

  it seems in most congregations there is always the same personality types of brothers and sisters in each congregation.

  self righteous ones.

  holier than thou, exemplary, with dc/ca parts every year family.

  Oh my. All kinds. All shapes. Most ok with the extremes on both ends of the scale. No boundaries. Hurt others with impunity...no remorse..never an acknowlegment. Just all in all a very unhealthy place to be.
